About us

A Chicago-based mutual-aid collective established by and for Black artists to pool funds to financially and creatively support our community.

Our mission

to provide affordable creative development feedback opportunities and implement impact-driven community outreach and exhibition for Black Queer, Trans, and/or disabled artists located in the ancestral homelands of the Council of the Three Fires, or Chicago.

Our vision

1) to curate events and skill-share resources for Black artists, with a focus on Chicago’s Black Queer, Trans, and/or Disabled people and communities on the far south and west sides;
2) to pool funds for Black Queer, Trans, and/or Disabled artists to assist them in completing their projects, or supplement the cost of living so they can focus more of their time on their artistic practice.
